Typically, a PHP is an option for treatment after a person has been hospitalized due to substance abuse issues, and the person is deemed fit to be discharged from the hospital. PHPs are often used as steps between inpatient and fully outpatient programs for substance abuse as well.The Adult Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) provides a mix of individual and group mental health psycho-education, empowerment, and treatment in an inclusive and safe environment. Over the course of 4+ weeks, the program enhances individual coping skills and provides a supportive team approach to continue to challenge and foster growth.Hours of Operation. Our Center City treatment center in Philadelphia is open Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 9:00pm. We have both morning and evening sessions for our intensive outpatient groups.
